    Are these "real" letters?

    Yes. The letters you receive are the text of actual, historic letters written by Catholic saints. The letters are from various sources including archives and special collections.

    Why should I join?

    Through the letters, you will have the opportunity of receiving in the mail the words of saints as they wrote them for their readers and now for the increase of your own faith formation. The letters provide you with an intimate look at the saints through their own words written to family members, friends, superiors, and spiritual directors,

     

    Every week you will be able to open a real envelope, unfold the crisp paper, and be inspired by the wisdom of the saints. Receiving the letters like the original recipient cannot be matched by reading the letter on your smartphone or computer.

    Do you deliver internationally?

    Yes. Letters are sent worldwide wherever mail is delivered. Postage is included in the price. Note, the monthly price for the letters are in U.S. dollars. If you live outside the United States, the amount charged to your credit card in your currency will be based on your credit card's exchange rate policy.

    When will my first letter arrive?

    The letters are sent via first-class mail on Saturdays. For U.S. addresses, your letter should arrive within several days after being sent. Letters sent to addresses outside of the U.S., will take a little bit longer. Each calendar month a total of four letters are sent.

    Is there a theme to the letters?

    Each month has a particular theme. Previous themes have included letters written to the Holy Father (e.g. St. Catherine of Siena and St. Bernard of Clairvaux), letters on friendship (e.g, St. Francis of Assisi and St. Ambrose), and advice from medieval religious women (e.g., St. Clare of Assisi and St. Bridget of Sweden). The letters are on a three year cycle. Over the course of three years, you will receive a new letter every week. Would you like to request a theme? Use the form below to submit your request.

    How do payments work?

    When you subscribe, you provide a credit card number which is charged for your first monthly payment. After that, once a month, your credit card will be charged the monthly subscription fee and you will be sent a receipt via email. The cost of postage is included in the flat monthly charge.

    Do you offer a guarantee?

    Yes. There is 30 day satisfaction guarantee. If within 30 days after your purchase you are not satisfied for any reason, simply send an email, and you will receive a full refund of your subscription. No questions asked and you can keep the letters you have received.

    Can I cancel at any time?

    Yes. You can can cancel your subscription at any time. You can also pause your subscription for any amount of time. Simply send an email to make any changes to your subscription and the change will be taken care of right away.

    May I photocopy the letters?

    No. None of the materials sent in the weekly letters can be reproduced or repackaged in any format (e.g., hard copy, electronic, retyped) for any reason without express written permission from Letters from the Saints. The letters are for the benefit of subscribers. If you are a subscriber and a teacher and you would like to photocopy the letters for the benefit of your students, please send an email with your request.

    Do you support any charities?

    Yes. Every subscription benefits sending letters to the homebound. Letters from the Saints is excited to support Saint Anthony Mail which sends monthly Catholic snail mail letters free of charge to the homebound. A portion of the proceeds along with the content of previous weekly saint letters are donated each month.
